What is the difference of Additive and Catalyst
> Gasoline additive increases gasoline’s octane rating or act as corrosion inhibitor or lubricators, thus allowing the use of higher compression ratios for greater efficiency and power , however some carry heavy environmental risks. Type of additives include metal deactivators, corrosion inhibitors, oxygenates and antioxidants.
> A Catalyst is any substance that works to accelerate a chemical reaction . Catalysts can be organic, synthetic or metal. The process by which the catalyst speeds up or slows a reaction is called catalysis.
For any process to occur, an energy called activation energy is required. Without the help of a catalyst, the amount of energy needed to spark a particular reaction is high. When the catalyst is present, the activation energy is lowered, making the reaction happens more efficiently. The catalyst generally works by either changing the structure of a molecule or by bonding to reactant molecules causing them to combine, react and release a product or energy.
Most common catalyst in biochemical reactions is enzyme. For example, an enzyme found in saliva breaks up food on contact. Without this catalyst, it might take weeks for us to digest food. Thus is the function of a Catalyst.
THE JBM PRODUCTS
JBM Manna Catalyst products have been tested and have passed laboratory tests by our Government regularatory bodies like the DOE, DENR, DOST and other private laboratories. JBM Manna Hydro Energy Ventures Enterprises has introduced the following products:
1. Catalyst for Gasoline Fuel
2. Catalyst for Diesel Fuel
3. Catalyst for Bunker Fuel
4. Catalyst for Engine Oil
The benefits of using the products above are :
1. For Engine or Motor Oil:
> Triples the life of an ordinary engine or motor oil
> Better to best engine lubrication
> Lesser noise, cleaner engine and smooth running engine
2. For Gasoline, Diesel and Bunker Fuel
> Fuel savings of up to 50%
> Improved engine performance which is more power, better combustion, cleaner engine, smoother running and longer engine life.
> Reduction of carbon dioxide up to 80% of the standard requirement for vehicle registration
> Reduction of carbon particulates emission up to 70% of the standard requirement for vehicle registration.
> Prolongs scheduled Change Oil.
> Reduction of Sulfur and Nitrogen Oxides that cause acid rain
Biofuels and other additives in the market are blended in high dosage to fuel. It is however amazing that JBM Manna Catalyst is mixed or blended with fuel and engine oil in just small percentage. The recommended blending ratios are:
1ml Catalyst is to 1 liter Gasoline Fuel (Unleaded or Regular)
1ml Catalyst is to 1 liter of Diesel Fuel
1ml Catalyst is to 1 liter of Bunker Fuel
2ml Catalyst is to a liter of Engine Oil
